'Freezer Match' with Acton sets things off
Twickenham CC's senior sides begin their 2025 cricketing adventure on Saturday 19 April. It's the 1st XI who are involved in the curtain-raiser; they travel to old friends Acton to get things up and running in the traditional 'freezer match'. Whatever weather we have before then, it's guaranteed to be barely above zero on the day.....

The senior 2nd XI are also making their seasonal bow at the same time. They entertain Acton's 2nd string on the Green. Given all the dry weather we've had, you'd think it'll be a good game to have a hit. We shall see....

Chesham play ones and twos on 26 April
The Ts will be locking horns with some new opponents on Saturday 26 April. The twos are on the road this time, they visit Chesham's 2nd XI. The Home Countries league side will be sending their 1st XI to the Green. Should be an interesting encounter.

Two good opportunities for the skippers to have good looks at their players.

Four fixtures against Camberley on 3 May
Following one new set of pre-season fixtures, there's another on 3 May. Four Twickenham sides take on Camberley in what will be the final warm ups before the league begins.

The Camberley games look like they are a very welcome addition to the calendar. The ones and the threes travel, the twos (on the Green) and the fours (at Broom Road) host. Should be a really interesting set of fixtures.

Then, it's the league season incoming (10 May). Won't be long now....
