Three more county caps awarded
You get the feeling that the awarding of county caps is a bit like waiting for London buses. You wait for ages for one to come along and then another follows right behind it.

Six members of the Twickenham CC women's section were recently awarded caps by Middlesex (see here for more on that) and now three more have received a similar honour from Surrey.

Former captain and Ann Baker led the way, and she was accompanied by Janet Greenhead and Denise Orford. Janet Greenhead was presented with a brown county cap; these are awarded to players who have played over 30 but fewer than 50 games. Ann Baker's cap was brown and silver for over 50 and fewer than 100 whilst Denise Orford took pride of place with a gold tinted cap as she played over 100 games for Surrey.

Congratulations to all three former players, magnificent stuff.
