Middlesex County Cricket League ECB Premier Division 2013

Weekend Review - The 1s match against Eastcote was lost to the weather when the Ts were on 135-4. See all of the MCCL results and tables HERE. The 2s drew away at Shepherds Bush. See the scorecard HERE and read the match report HERE. The 3s had the better of a draw against Richmond. Ts 222 for 7 Dec off 45 Ashley Gray with an unbeaten ton. Richmond 141 for 8 at the end. At one point they were 65-8. The 4s ended with a draw against South Hampstead 3s but the 5s were rained off at AP. On Sunday the Development X1 lost by 18 runs away at Indian Gym yesterday. They won the toss and batted. We bowled and fielded extremely well allowing only one batsman (their opener) to really get in and he ended up with 56 before getting out in the 21st over with their score on 87 - they were all out for 154 in the 44th over (the league rules are same as county league where the side batting first can bat for 55% of the allotted match overs (80) i.e. a max of 44 for them). We didn't chase well at all - left with 36 overs to get 155 at 4.3 an over or 127 for a winning draw we were all out for 136 in 34.5 overs - so only one over away from a winning draw. Extras killed us they were 125 off the bat with 29 extras (154). We were 124 off the bat with 12 extras (136). The Ladies saw a 8 wicket defeat by Shepperton.  Twickenham batted first and with rain slowing the outfield down scored 155 in their 45 overs. Charlotte top scorer with 45.   In reply Shepperton's Aylish Cranstone's 76 supported by Cath McNeil 40no and their 101 partnership saw them coast home in the 32nd over with 8 wickets in hand.
